How a Day Trip Works

Meet at the launch point. Learn about today's route, water conditions, safety rules, and paddling technique refresher.

Equipment Setup

Get fitted with your kayak, paddle, and life vest. Everything's checked for comfort and security before we hit the water.

Paddle & Explore

Launch into calm waters. Paddle at your own pace, stop when you want, take photos, observe wildlife, enjoy the scenery.

Picnic Break

Pull up at a scenic stop. Rest, eat lunch, swim if you want. Spend as long as you need to recharge before continuing.

Do I need kayaking experience?

No. Our routes are designed for all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced paddlers. We'll teach you everything you need to know.

What if I can't swim?

You'll wear a life vest the entire time. It's comfortable, doesn't restrict movement, and gives you peace of mind on the water.

What's included in the trip?

Kayak, paddle, life vest, safety briefing, route guidance, and knowledge of the best stops. Bring your own lunch or we can help arrange one.

How long are the trips?

Half-day trips run about 4 hours including setup and breaks. Full-day trips are 8 hours with a longer lunch stop midway.

What about weather and cancellations?

We paddle rain or shine. High winds or dangerous storms might require rescheduling. We'll communicate any changes 24 hours in advance.

Can families with kids join?

Absolutely. Kids as young as 6 can paddle with supervision. We have routes and pacing that work well for families.
